Wesley Peres received the B.Sc., the M.Sc. and the D.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Brazil, in 2010, 2012 and 2016 respectively. He is currently a Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering of Federal University of São João del-Rei, Brazil.
His main areas of research include Power System Dynamic and Control, Small Signal Stability, Bio-inspired Optimization and Electrical Machines.
Memberships: CIGRÉ (since 2014), IEEE Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (since 2014) and Brazilian Automation Society (since 2015).
